Venture Media’s owners and senior designers Jim & Kris Duffy each have over 45 years
of experience in creative concept development and various forms of media creation.
About us
Jim is a man of many creative talents including the design of dozens of themed buildings and interior spaces, and project management on the execution of those spaces. He is a writer/producer/director of hundreds of national TV commercials and broadcast documentary programs (Discovery/Travel Channel/Entertainment Tonight/PM Magazine), and the author of three published novels (two historical adventures and a tech thriller). He is also an active musician (drums/guitar/keys) and an award-winning modelmaker and painter.
With a passion for history, genealogy, and research Kris has an extensive background in creative concept development for period and themed settings. She wrote and produced hundreds of informational segments for the Armed Forces Network, including The Great American State Quiz, the most successful series ever broadcast on the network. She is an avid devotee of the Disney philosophy of storytelling through architecture and design. Kris also oversees the administration of contracts, office management, and corporate affairs at both Venture Media and Dream Vision.
